Why on earth would God choose ME?

Have you ever asked yourself this question?

Maybe not…

Maybe never…

Maybe you still ask it every day…

I love the stories of humble people who respond to a call to do God’s work without possessing the skills required by the rigors of our church’s academic expectations. Then, by the grace of God, they’re sent out into ministry where… they simply thrive!!!

Jesus is like that. He only ever seeks a humble and willing heart. The Holy Spirit does the rest. Paul’s writing here is captivating. From a man who boasts in his weakness, Paul has probably had more influence on shaping the evolution of global human thought than anyone except Jesus himself! Not because of what he knows, but who!!!

“For God’s foolishness is wiser than human wisdom, and God’s weakness is stronger than human strength” v25
